Thank You for a Fun & Fabulous Family Game Night!

On Thursday, October 13th, Holmes PTA hosted its first Family Game Night in coordination with Holmes Staff and the Student Council. Free pizza & drinks were offered along with 7 different game areas for families to enjoy. Dodge Ball in the gym, Family Trivia in the Media Center, and Karaoke were likely the favorites of the night, but honestly, each area had a good share of visitors and participants. We had between 175 - 200 folks come to eat & play together, which is a pretty great turn-out! We also had lots of student, parent, and staff volunteers who made the event run smoothly and effectively. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL VOLUNTEERS AND PARTICIPANTS! We got lots of feedback that indicated families would like this to become an annual event. What a great way to get to know one another and build community!
